New subscribers may cancel their subscription within 14 days of signing up, provided they have not yet been approved by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).
Cancellations within this period will result in a full refund of any payments made unless FCA approval has been granted (see below).
FCA Approval
If a subscriber is approved on our system and by the FCA within the 14-day cooling-off period, the subscription will become non-cancellable. At this point, the user will be committed to the full 12-month contract term.
12-Month Contract Term
All subscriptions are for a fixed term of 12 months, regardless of whether payments are made monthly or annually.
Early cancellation is not permitted after the initial 14-day cooling-off period unless required by law.
Auto-Renewal After 12 Months
At the end of the initial 12-month contract period, subscriptions will automatically renew for another 12-month term unless the subscriber opts out.
To opt out of auto-renewal, subscribers must provide written notice at least 7 days before the end of the current subscription term by contacting Kanda’s support team at Help@kanda.co.uk.
Subscribers will receive a notification 30 days before their renewal date to remind them of the auto-renewal and provide instructions for opting out.
Cancellation Process
To request a cancellation, subscribers must contact Kanda’s support team at Help@kanda.co.uk.
Cancellations will only be confirmed once the subscriber receives a confirmation email from Kanda.
Refund Policy
Refunds to Original Payment Method
Any refunds issued will only be returned to the payment method used for the original transaction. No exceptions.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after cancellation is confirmed.
Non-Payment Consequences
Failure to make scheduled monthly payments will result in the subscriber being liable for the entire remaining balance of the 12-month contract term. This ensures clarity and adherence to the agreed-upon terms.
Kanda reserves the right to pursue collection measures for unpaid balances, including service suspension or legal action if necessary.
Refunds for Unused Services
Refunds for unused services are not applicable after the 14-day cooling-off period. This includes early termination of annual subscriptions or monthly plans.
General Terms
Cooling-Off Period Usage
If a subscriber uses Kanda services during the 14-day cooling-off period (e.g., generating quotes or accessing features), this usage may impact their eligibility for a full refund.
Auto-Renewal Opt-Out
Subscribers wishing to avoid auto-renewal must provide written notice at least 7 days before the end of their current term by contacting Kanda’s support team at Help@kanda.co.uk.
Subscribers who fail to opt out within this timeframe will be automatically renewed for a new 12-month subscription term.
Force Majeure
In rare cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., death, severe illness), subscribers may contact Kanda to discuss prorated refunds or contract adjustments, subject to review.
Contact for Disputes
For disputes or refund inquiries, contact Kanda’s support team at Help@kanda.co.uk with relevant details, including the account holder's name, subscription ID, and reason for cancellation or refund request.
